Hawkshead Hill Chapel is situated on the B5285 between Hawkshead and Coniston.
It is 0.8 mile from the junction with the B5286.
It lies in a small cluster of cottages and has a blue sign which is clearly visible from the road.
PARKING: You may use the cottage drive. Alternatively you can park on the nearby side road. There are several spaces on the left of the lane just beyond the telephone box, and then more spaces on the right, on the island immediately after the next right turn (signposted Ambleside)

N.B. SATNAV generally takes you over the Windermere ferry. This is a pleasant route but can take longer as there is a 20 minutes wait between ferries. (If you plan to use the ferry, do check it is running)
