Our main weekly service is held on Sundays at 10.30am. It is an informal time of worship to which all are very welcome.
We are always delighted to welcome visitors.
There are optional special activities for children, and the informal atmosphere means that families can feel comfortable with us.
During the service there is usually the opportunity to contribute e.g. in prayer, sharing your own insights on a Bible passage, sharing your experiences. Equally you may feel you don't want any demands placed on you - and that is respected.
SONGS & HYMNS are usually accompanied by keyboard and one or two guitars. We use a mixture of songs and hymns, mostly drawing from the Combined Mission Praise, and Spring Harvest Praise (old and new), but also the occasional Iona song or Taize chant. We enjoy learning new songs from a variety of sources.
ACCESS. We have a disabled parking space, wheel chair access, and a wheel chair accessible toilet. In addition large print songbooks and word sheets, and a hearing loop are all available.
MIDWEEK MEETINGS We usually have some kind of midweek meeting. This may be a housegroup, or a Lent group. At the moment we are running Alpha on a Friday lunchtime.
We are part of Churches Together in Hawkshead, and the other local churches would also welcome you warmly.
