Events for Holy Week
Monday, April 2nd: Walked Retreat 10.00am - 3.30pm
Bring packed lunch, walking boots, waterproofs- and £5!
The walk takes us to the edge of Coniston Water, to Tarn Hows, and back home.
10.00am Arrivals and drinks
10.30am Leave for walk which will include the chance to listen, reflect, pray and share

Friday, April 6th: Good Friday Walk
Meet at Hawkshead Methodist Church at 10.30am
The walk will take us to the edge of Esthwaite Water, and will include a reading of St. John's account of the Passion.
Please bring strong shoes and waterproofs.
We return to The Old School House, Main St, Hawkshead, by noon, for light refreshments.

Andrew and Kath were interviewed by Radio Cumbria, and asked to explain the Chapel vision for the building and grounds. This was featured on the Sunday Breakfast Show in three instalments!
On Tuesday, August 23rd, for the Hawkshead Show, we helped create and run a Churches Together Marquee with a 'SHEEP' theme.
Children made playdough sheep, prayers were place in the Prayer Fold, and a display included Bible passages and photographs of sheep.

On Thursday, June 2nd Kath lead a Churches Together Walk for Ascension Day. We stopped high above Esthwaite Water to pray and sing.
On Sunday, May 29th, we organised Crazy Croquet on behalf of Churches Together, for Hawkshead's Party in the Park. There were over 80 names on the Leader Board.
On Saturday, May 19th, we invited friends to join us for Afternoon Tea, and to help us celebrate our Eco-Award. We are the fourth eco-congregation in Cumbria. John Biggs presented the award to Anita Payne.

On Sunday, December 19th, we were delighted when six of our former young people joined us for worship.
We've had our share of snow this winter.
On Saturday, October 9th, as the Chapel orchard had produced an abundance of apples, we invited neighbours to share in making apple juice using an apple press.
On Sunday, September 19th, although few in number on that particular Sunday, we STOOD UP AGAINST POVERTY.
On Sunday, September 5th we had the pleasure of BAPTISING Elvira Wiehe.
On Tuesday, August 24th, we helped with a Churches Together Marquee at the HAWKSHEAD SHOW. We were delighted that Tim Farron, our local MP, paid us a visit.
